Valentine's Day Peppermint Pattie Chocolate Cupcakes for Two
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/8 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons buttermilk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 2 mini peppermint patties e

- 2 tablespoons chocolate chips for garnish
- Whipped cream optional, for garnish
- Crushed peppermint candies optional, for garnish
Instructions:
Start by heating the oven to 350F 175C
All-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and baking soda should all be mixed together in a small bowl
The granulated sugar, melted unsalted butter, buttermilk, vanilla extract, and egg should all be mixed together well in a different bowl
Mix the dry ingredients into the wet ones until you get a smooth batter
Paper liners should be put in two cupcake tins
Put the same amount of batter in each of the two cupcake liners
Put a small peppermint pattiest in the middle of each cupcake liner and gently press it down into the batter
After the oven is hot, bake the cupcakes for 18 to 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean
Take the cupcakes out of the oven and let them cool for a few minutes in the pan
Then, move them to a wire rack to cool completely
Cool the cupcakes down, then melt the chocolate chips and drizzle them on top to make them look nice
You can add whipped cream and crushed peppermint candies on top if you want to
