Taco Salad Bowl
You can enjoy a tasty Taco Salad Bowl with seasoned ground beef, fresh vegetables, and a tangy dressing. Great for a quick and filling meal!
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 can 15 oz black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 cup corn kernels frozen or canned
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup diced red onion
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup salsa
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
- Tortilla chips optional
Instructions:
In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked
Drain excess fat
Add the taco seasoning and water according to packet instructions to the cooked beef
Stir well and simmer for a few minutes until the mixture thickens
In a large salad bowl, combine the black beans, corn, cherry tomatoes, shredded lettuce, cheddar cheese, diced red onion, and sliced black olives
Top the salad with the seasoned ground beef
In a small bowl, mix together sour cream and salsa to make the dressing
Drizzle the dressing over the salad
Sprinkle chopped cilantro on top
If desired, serve with tortilla chips for added crunch
Toss everything together just before serving
